sachi the kitten

today i waged battle with the evil red dot.  it taunts me.  here i am exploring and minding my own kitty business and it shows up!  i’m not sure how but he knows where i am all the time!

i almost caught it, and with practice i will prevail.  honing my kitty ninja skills seems to be a lot more work than i anticipated.

early yesterday morning i said my final goodbyes to my mom, brother, sister and human family.  I was very nervous and scared and i really do not like being put in carriers.  a real nice lady named shirley works for an airline so she was the one who picked me up to take me to my new home.

several people asked shirley to buy me but shirley knew that i already had somewhere to go.  a lot of people kept looking at me and making weird sounds.  humans are weird!  the airplane ride wasn’t very fun.  i had fuzzies in my tummy and i just wanted to go back home and see my mommy. 

after we got off the airplane, shirley walked up to a nice looking lady and i knew that was my new human.  she was smiling and giggling and kept covering her mouth with her hands in excitement.  my other human just smiled at me and said hello.  shirley was nice enough to let them know how much i really didn’t like the carriers when they transferred me to the new one.  i tried to stay calm but i just got really nervous and wanted out.  my new human was trying to comfort me but there was just so much noise and i didnt see anything familiar so i had a little bit of gas!

it was a long drive home but finally i was set free from that godawful carrier!  i immediately missed everyone back home and felt scared.  when i looked over though i saw a fountain of water just like the one i had back home!  i saw my food that i always eat and i saw my litter.  I started to feel better and decided to have some yumyums for my tumtum.

i spent most of the morning exploring and looking around my new home.  my humans just watched me and it made me feel a little nervous so i hid at the edge of the bed so i could see them but i was safe because i had somewhere to hide if they turned out mean!

it was such a long day.  i was soo tired. my human curled up on the floor next to me and just put her hand out to touch me but didn’t make me come out.  we watched each other for a little while and both fell asleep.

when i woke up my new humans were still there. they were smiling and friendly.  the big one left but the smaller one stayed with me the whole time.  we played a few games of ball-o-yarn, and chase-the-shiny.  i’m glad she knows those games, i hate having to train humans how to play!  i got to meet a lady named aunty tif.  she was real nice and liked to play too.  we played for a really long time and i got so sleepy again. 

when i woke up no one was in the room and i felt a little scared.  i tried to call out so someone could visit me and instantly my new human appeared.  she picked me up and took me to another room. i’m pretty sure this is the the smaller human’s work room. it was full of computery stuff and tv.

after she sent off an email to pegkens to let them know i was okay and played some scrabulous with aunty erin. we sat around watching tv. okay i admit it, i fell asleep again.

my other human came home, i think his name is joel, and he gave me some snuggles and decided to watch some tv with us. he’s pretty cool he lets me crawl on top of him and nestle.

it was a long day, one of the longest i’ve had so far!  i got a lot of rest and i think my new humans are nice.  they’re very friendly and like to play with me. they give me rubbies and scratchies and are really trying to make me feel safe in my new home.

i miss everyone back home.  i’m still a little lonely so i try to stick by my humans as much as possible, i hope everyone back at pegkens is okay.  my paws are soo tired from typing so im gonna go sleepies.

its thanksgiving today! and i have a lot to be thankful for. i’m definitely thankful to be really cute. i’m thankful for my current family who has taken a lot of care of me and have been preparing me for my journey to my new home!

i got to take a family picture with my brother and sister. i’m the one on the top left. i think i’m turning japanese, i think i’m turning japanese, i really think so! i’m only 10 weeks old in the picture.

im thankful for all the cat trees i get to play on while im still here! i’m thankful for the other kitties also born here who have kept me company and played with me as they get ready to go to their homes too. here is a picture of me and elliot, he’s another kitty born here. we are both 11 weeks old.

i saw my breeder typing on the computer to my human. i tried to get a closer look but as soon as i got close she picked me up and put me back down on the ground. my ninja kitten skills still haven’t developed as much as i would have liked. i will have to practice once i move to irvine.

in 29 days i will officially be in irvine where a life of pampering and spoils await me. i’m excited to meet my human, i’m going to miss my mum and sister and everyone at pegkens but i’m looking forward to ruling my own domain starting a new life.

i’m tired and feeling snuggly so i’m going to take a little nappy.
